Company Holds Special Legal Training on Trademark Rights Protection and Patent Protection

On the afternoon of July 2, the company held a special legal training session on 'Trademark Rights Protection and Patent Protection'.
Professor Guo Dezhong of the Law School of Beijing Institute of Technology was invited to give the lecture. Professor Guo gave a thorough and systematic explanation of key issues in patent law and trademark law and, in particular, combined actual cases to explain in detail and in depth trademark applications and the types of infringement, ways of protecting rights, the types of patents and protection against infringement, so that we gained a certain understanding of how enterprises apply for, operate and protect their own intellectual property and deepened our awareness of the importance of brand building. He reminded us to pay attention to protecting the enterprise's intellectual property and not only to strengthen management of the intellectual property process but also to safeguard the company's rights and interests promptly through legal means once its trademark rights and patent rights are infringed, so as to promote an effective increase in the company's brand value and scientific and technological competitiveness.
Nearly 500 people attended the training: company leaders, heads of departments of the head office, staff in relevant positions in the Market Development Division and the Technology Development Division, and all staff of the Enterprise Management and Legal Affairs Division, as well as leaders of second-level units, the heads of their departments and staff in positions related to market rights protection and patent management.
