Songming County of Kunming City lies at the western edge of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with terrain sloping from northwest to southeast and an average elevation of 2,136 meters according to the National Fundamental Geographic Information System. The three rounds of the 2018 Kunlun Lubricant King of Racing Challenge are the Yancheng (Dafeng) high-performance round, the Kunming Songming Jiali Ze plateau round and the Yakeshi extreme-cold round. This year the CCPC lands for the first time at a plateau venue, Kunming Songming Jiali Ze, which is not only a challenge to the drivers’ control skills but also a severe test of the racing cars and lubricant performance. Ultimately, the champion, runner-up and third place of this Kunming Songming Jiali Ze round final will set off together with the top three from the Dafeng round for the hometown of ice and snow — Yakeshi in Inner Mongolia — to meet the driving challenge of the extreme-cold region and jointly contend for the annual “Kunlun King of Racing” crown.
