Looking back on this season, the 2017 CCPC set off in summer, passed through highs of plus 40 degrees, crossed treacherous all-road conditions and took its leave in the extreme cold of minus 40 degrees. Along the way, 40 participating manufacturers and their drivers left behind images of fierce competition. Tempered by the ordeal: high-quality oil completes the extreme challenge
The CCPC is the first Class-A event in China for competitive testing of production car performance. This edition set up three rounds and successfully attracted more than 70 vehicles from 40 manufacturers nationwide, with the schedule lasting half a year. After conquering the high-temperature gobi of Karamay and the high-performance mixed road conditions of Dafeng, the entrants met the ice-and-snow extreme-cold track in Yakeshi; this route arrangement, divided by season, won the affection of many drivers and became a major extreme challenge that tests drivers’ endurance and vehicles’ overall performance to the utmost.
