زيت الدراجات النارية From July 14 to 16, the company held a training class for trade union cadres in Daqing. More than 40 trade union chairmen and cadres from 22 units under the company took part.
At the opening of the class, Sun Zhaowen, vice chairman of the company's trade union and head of the Party and Mass Work Division, first conveyed and explained the spirit of the Party's conference on mass organization work, pointing out that current trade union work should revolve closely around that conference and General Secretary Xi Jinping's requirements for mass organization work, and should do more to organize, publicize, educate and guide the masses and more to unify thinking, rally hearts, resolve conflicts, deepen feelings and stimulate motivation. In organizing work and activities, the masses should be put at the centre and made the protagonists, more attention, care and love should be given to ordinary people, and sincere feelings for the masses should be strengthened. More attention should be paid to people in difficulty, efforts should be made to solve their problems, and trade union cadres should become people the masses trust, can rely on and cannot do without. In particular, in light of the company's actual situation, five areas of work should be given priority: first, strengthen study and further enhance the initiative in trade union work; second, conscientiously perform functions and safeguard employees' interests; third, strengthen work-group building and further raise grassroots management standards; fourth, carry out extensive rationalization proposals and mass economic and technological innovation activities; and fifth, strengthen democratic management and further build the trade union organizations themselves.
The training covered such key topics as how trade union organizations should provide service and support under the new situation, rationalization proposals and mass economic and technological innovation projects, labour dispute mediation and work-group building. Lecturers were invited from among comrades long engaged in grassroots trade union work at Daqing Petrochemical and Daqing Refining and Chemical, as well as the second head of the 'Wang Hai Team' at Fushun Petrochemical. During the training, participants visited the Iron Man Memorial Hall and the mass cultural activity venues of Daqing Petrochemical Company and held discussions on current trade union work. Participants felt that the course content was practical and highly targeted and operational, that the visits and exchanges were deeply moving and that they had gained a great deal. They said that after returning they would carefully digest the course content and keep putting it into practice in their work, raise the standard of trade union work and provide good support and service for the company's quality, profitable and sustainable development.
