زيت الدراجات النارية As China's dependence on external energy supplies keeps rising, natural gas is already regarded as the main future source of automotive energy. At the same time, the state is vigorously promoting the use of clean fuels such as LNG, CNG and LPG in vehicles in place of conventional fuels, and buses, taxis and even private cars have begun to choose conversion from petrol to gas. In the course of promoting clean fuels, however, some converted vehicles still use the petrol engine oil they used before, which reduces the vehicles' overall performance and in particular causes various problems in the engine.
Lubricants for petrol and diesel vehicles are developed and produced according to the operating conditions and lubrication characteristics of their respective engines, but natural gas vehicle engines have the characteristics of 'two highs and one difficulty', and their requirements for lubricants are even more demanding than those of petrol and diesel engines. The two highs are the high temperature of the combustion chamber and the high content of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas. Because clean fuels release more heat when burned than petrol, the combustion chamber temperature is often several tens to several hundred degrees higher than in petrol vehicles, which in turn raises the nitrogen oxide content in the exhaust, triggers nitration of the oil and produces excessive sludge, shortening the service life of the oil. The one difficulty refers to difficulty in lubrication, because high temperatures hinder the formation of the lubricating film and promote rapid oxidation of the oil and an increase in deposits, affecting the oil's effectiveness and service life.
Gas engines with these 'two highs and one difficulty' characteristics must therefore be filled with oil made specially for gas engines rather than the oil used in petrol or diesel engines.
