Southwest Lubricant Sales Branch Holds Technical Exchange with Chongqing Iron and Steel Group

On September 16, 2010, led by Hao Lujiang, deputy Party Committee Secretary of the Southwest Branch, a Kunlun team composed of relevant technical staff from the Lanzhou R&D Institute and the Southwest Branch visited the new plant area of Chongqing Iron and Steel Group in Jiangnan Town, Changshou, and held a technical exchange themed "Steel Plant Equipment Lubrication and Oil Selection" with relevant personnel from Chongqing Iron and Steel's equipment management department. A total of 25 people took part in the exchange, including the machinery department of Chongqing Iron and Steel Group and the equipment lubrication officers of all production units.

After gaining a preliminary understanding of Chongqing Iron and Steel's oil needs for production, the Kunlun team visited two branch plants in the company's new area on site. At a time when the local "autumn tiger" heat was at its fiercest, the temperature outside the workshops reached 40 degrees Celsius during the visit, and inside the workshops it climbed as high as 46 degrees Celsius. Regardless of the heat and fatigue, the Kunlun team carried forward a spirit of continuous hard work and held thorough exchanges with equipment officers at each branch plant on how to correctly select oils for each lubrication point in the production facilities. During the exchange, the Kunlun team highlighted the performance and advantages of Kunlun products as well as the international certifications and achievements they have obtained, giving Chongqing Iron and Steel personnel a more direct and comprehensive understanding of the Kunlun lubricant brand. They saw the core technology that Kunlun Lubricant possesses and became more confident that Kunlun can replace imported brands such as Mobil and Shell.
Through this technical exchange, Chongqing Iron and Steel Group not only gained a completely new understanding of the quality of Kunlun lubricants; the Kunlun team's excellent professionalism and good working attitude also won the company's recognition, laying a solid foundation for broad cooperation with Chongqing Iron and Steel Group in the future.
