Karamay Lubricant Plant Passes Supervisory Audit by BVQI Certification Company

From October 9 to 10, 2009, the French international quality certification company BVQI conducted a two-day supervisory audit of the Karamay Lubricant Plant under PetroChina Kunlun Lubricant Company. This audit was a certificate renewal supervisory audit against the new standard, following the initial and external audits through which the plant's quality system obtained certification from BVQI at the end of 2006. It further supervised the links related to the plant's production and operations and provided important guidance for the overall improvement of the plant's system management. The audit team experts rigorously and meticulously conducted sampling verification and tracing of every process and every control requirement in the plant's quality system. After the audit, supervisory audit team expert Kan Jianjun reported the results: since the last supervisory audit, the Karamay Lubricant Plant's quality system has remained under control and is operating well, and its certificate continues to be valid. The plant's relevant executive said that in addition to external audits, the plant will need to further strengthen internal audits and daily management in the future, identifying and solving problems promptly, thereby raising the enterprise's overall management level.
