Representatives of the Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association Visit the Chengdu Lubricant Plant for Research

Recently, the council meeting of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association was held in Chengdu. During the meeting, the general manager of China Hongyan Heavy Truck Group Company, the general manager of Yunnei Internal Combustion Engine Group Company, the deputy general manager of Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Group Company and more than 50 representatives from major internal combustion engine manufacturing plants and industry associations across the country came to the Chengdu Lubricant Plant by invitation for on-site inspection and research.
The relationship between internal combustion engines and lubricants can be described as interdependent; the model and grade of lubricant to be selected and matched for each type of internal combustion engine, and the lubricant production process, quality standards, oil product structure, performance and uses, are the questions of greatest concern and greatest interest to the association's representatives. Walking into the drum-making and packaging oil production workshops of the Chengdu Lubricant Plant and watching the production lines for canned oil products and drum-making and packaging, what the representatives paid most attention to were the brand packaging of lubricants and indicator requirements such as the colour comparison and viscosity of the oil products. Liu Zhijian, deputy plant director of the Chengdu Lubricant Plant, specifically introduced to the leaders of Hongyan Heavy Truck, Yunnei Power and Changan Suzuki Group companies the production situation of the packaged lubricant products supplied to those companies by the Chengdu Plant and its whole-process quality inspection system, and won the association leaders' recognition of the quality of the Kunlun lubricant brand.
During the research visit, the representatives attending the Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association meeting showed great interest in the standardised inspection and testing instruments of the Chengdu Lubricant Plant's analysis and testing center, and in particular consulted and made enquiries of the center's technical personnel about the laboratory analysis indicators for high-grade gasoline and diesel internal combustion engine lubricants. The representatives said that internal combustion engine production technology standards are becoming ever higher today, and there are now stricter standards for internal combustion engine lubricants as well; they believe that, relying on Kunlun Lubricant's integrated production, research and sales management system and its specialised, standardised and whole-process quality management and after-sales service system, cooperation between Kunlun Lubricant and the internal combustion engine industry will become even closer and will win the trust of more market users through quality, service and integrity.
