Kunlun wind power equipment special gear oil has obtained FLENDER certification.

On January 11, 2022, Kunlun Wind Power Equipment Special Gear Oil obtained FLENDER (Flender) certification. This certification is the most important OEM certification standard for industrial gears, gearboxes, and other transmission components in industries such as wind power generation, metallurgy, mining, cement, and papermaking. Obtaining this certification demonstrates that the performance and quality standards of the “Kunlun Wind Power Equipment Special Gear Oil” fully meet the lubrication requirements of the world’s top professional power transmission equipment and comply with the usage standards of Siemens Flender gearboxes and other equipment. It also serves as a pass for Kunlun wind power oils to enter the end market, opening up new prospects for the subsequent promotion and application of top-tier micropitting-resistant products.
An important trend in the development of industrial gear oils is that OEMs are having an increasingly greater influence on changes in gear oil specifications; only certified oils can be recommended for use by OEM manufacturers.
Flender specifications are currently the highest specifications for industrial gear oils, leading the development of industrial gear oils and widely recognized within the wind power industry. Most wind turbine OEMs hope to use lubricants that have passed Flender certification.
