Kunlun Oils Win Bid to Supply Myanmar's Yeywa Hydropower Station

Leveraging its geographical advantages, Kunlun Lubricant's Southwest Branch actively sought opportunities to develop the Southeast Asian market. Through the branch's unremitting efforts, Kunlun oils recently won the bid to supply oils for Myanmar's Yeywa Hydropower Station.
The Yunnan and Guangxi areas under the Southwest Branch border ASEAN countries, and this unique geographical advantage facilitates border trade. In its investigation of border trade business, the Southwest Branch learned that the Yeywa project is the largest hydropower station currently under construction in Myanmar, has significant influence within the country and is known as Myanmar's Three Gorges Project. The project plans to install four turbine generator units with a rated capacity of 197.5 MW/230 MVA each. Once completed, it will greatly ease Myanmar's electricity shortage, which is why the Myanmar government attaches great importance to it.
After learning that Sinohydro International Engineering Co., Ltd. had successfully won the Myanmar Yeywa hydropower project, the Southwest Branch actively contacted the project subcontractor, Yunnan Guobang International Hydropower Construction Co., Ltd., and quickly assigned dedicated staff to closely track the project's progress. At the same time, with the assistance of the Chengdu Lubricant Plant, the Southwest Branch quickly formulated a thorough lubrication plan. The plan was recognized by the project's general contractor, Sinohydro International Engineering Co., Ltd. Recently, 295 drums of Kunlun TSA46 turbine oil were successfully exported.
The successful development of this project is a solid and important step by the Lubricant Company in actively developing the Southeast Asian market. It has accumulated valuable experience for the company's future related business, further expanded the international profile of the Kunlun brand and is of great significance for Kunlun Lubricant's full-scale entry into overseas markets.
