Quality and Honor: Kunlun Lubricant Wins a Place in the First Batch of Outstanding Achievements of the Central Enterprise Brand Leadership Initiative

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has attached great importance to brand work. On May 10, 2014, during an inspection tour of China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. in Henan, General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward for the first time, with great foresight, the important exposition of promoting the transformation of Made in China to Created in China, of China Speed to China Quality and of Chinese Products to Chinese Brands. General Secretary Xi Jinping has stressed on many occasions the need to strengthen brand awareness, to make national brands stronger and bigger and to accelerate the development of a number of world-class enterprises with outstanding products, prominent brands, leading innovation and modern governance, pointing the way and providing guidance for Chinese enterprises in the new era to boost high-quality development through high-quality brand building.
The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) has studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on brand work, organized and implemented the Central Enterprise Brand Leadership Initiative and selected and released outstanding brand achievements under the Four Batches framework, namely a batch of group brands, a batch of enterprise brands, a batch of product brands and a batch of service brands, pushing central enterprises to accelerate the improvement of their brand work, to better demonstrate the results of brand building and to enhance brand influence and competitiveness, with a large number of outstanding brand achievements emerging.
In 2024, SASAC selected the first batch of 45 leading, landmark and representative outstanding achievements of the Central Enterprise Brand Leadership Initiative from brands in different industries, at different levels and of different types.
Kunlun Lubricant, as a leading brand in the lubricant industry,
with strong brand influence and a good reputation,
was honored as a product brand among the first batch of outstanding achievements of the Central Enterprise Brand Leadership Initiative,
and is the only enterprise within China National Petroleum Corporation to receive this honor,
marking important achievements by Kunlun Lubricant in promoting brand building and high-quality development.
