Chengdu Lubricant Plant Runs Varied Quality Month Activities

Since September, around the theme of Quality Month, Chengdu Lubricant Plant has carried out targeted quality review and diagnosis activities based on the seven inspections and one visit program, whose main content covers checking quality responsibility awareness, quality safety levels, quality assurance systems, standards implementation, metrology and testing assurance, on-site management, and quality losses, plus visiting customers, and has rectified five quality traceability process control and self-inspection issues. During the activities, the plant held briefings on quality management systems, organized training on quality and metrology standards and quality statistics techniques and a workshop quality management exchange meeting to popularize basic quality knowledge among employees. In conjunction with Quality Month, the plant also ran a quality knowledge prize contest through its network and collected and judged employee cartoons on the theme of safety and quality month, raising employees' quality awareness and skills in a relaxed way. In addition, the plant actively and widely mobilized employees to identify gaps, investigate causes and take measures, further improving quality management in production process control and other areas.
