Kunlun Grease and Specialty Oil Business Develops Lubrication Solutions for 12 Major Industries

This project is implemented by the Yumen Oilfield Refining and Chemical General Plant, which has long been responsible for the development and production of specialty lubricating products. Through "comprehensive lubrication solutions," it will effectively help customers by providing a rich product offering and assisting with the management of lubricating oils and, more importantly, will be able to carry out research and development aimed at users' application environments and provide targeted optimised solutions.
At the same time, the business will move toward deeper joint product development, that is, binding scientific research and development work together with customers' product development work so that the two proceed in parallel, providing the corresponding technical support and services from the very start of their product design.
For a long time, Yumen has taken vacuum sealing, high and low temperature, aerospace, electronics and metalworking as its main fields and achieved outstanding results. Many products have won national scientific research awards, and it is at a leading level for military and specialty industries in particular, achieving equivalent replacement of international oil companies' products.
Now, in light of new equipment applications and lubrication technology development, Kunlun's grease and specialty oil business will further step up development in the field of industry-specific products and will launch more than 40 new varieties of lubricating products in 2009. In addition, through cooperation with numerous scientific research institutions, it will also carry out development work and tackle key problems in the field of synthetic specialty oil products, expanding the current domestic market for synthetic specialty oil products.
