Kunlun Lubricant Develops Cost-Effective LG-80 Wire Rope Protective Grease

Recently, the LG-80 wire rope protective grease developed by Lanzhou Grease Plant for the port industry fully met the wire rope lubrication requirements of the port sector in actual production application at Guizhou Wire Rope Plant, and the two sides reached a cooperation agreement. In recent years, with the growing prosperity of domestic import and export trade, demand for grease in the port industry has increased markedly, yet most of the wire rope protective grease used in this field has been imported and highly priced. After learning of this market demand, Kunlun Lubricant's Lanzhou Grease Plant conducted in-depth analysis and research into the special grease requirements of the port industry and carried out repeated tests, ultimately selecting raw materials from among various options that could both meet port industry lubrication needs and save production costs, and developing the highly cost-effective LG-80 wire rope protective grease in one stroke. Following analysis and evaluation, LG-80 wire rope protective grease is 50 percent cheaper than foreign products of the same quality, effectively breaking the monopoly of foreign companies on port grease.
