The 2017 Kunlun Lubricants King of Cars Contest Dafeng Round Is About to Ignite

After the exciting competition at Karamay, the Kunlun Lubricants King of Cars Contest will reignite its battle in Dafeng, Yancheng, on September 22-24. Fifteen racers from all over the country will meet in the "capital of eastern wetlands" for a series of high-energy showdowns.
Fifteen top racers take on "Asia's No. 1 automotive test ground"
In late September, the Kunlun Lubricants King of Cars Contest will be held in Dafeng for the first time. Unlike the previous round, which mainly tested racers' performance in extreme climates and the natural gobi environment, this round will be held at the CATARC Yancheng Automotive Proving Ground, known as "Asia's No. 1 automotive test ground", fully demonstrating the most authentic performance of vehicles under various extreme conditions and providing a more professional test of racers' driving ability and other aspects. It is understood that the venue for this competition, the CATARC Yancheng Automotive Proving Ground, has various road facilities satisfying verification and development testing and can test all performance indicators of automobiles, so the Dafeng round can challenge all the comprehensive performance characteristics of the cars.
The China Car Performance Challenge (CCPC) is a national Class A event jointly presented by the China Automotive Technology and Research Center and the China Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation; people in the industry call it the "Olympics of Chinese automobiles", and it has now been successfully held twice. The Kunlun Lubricants King of Cars Contest is the newly added Group K competition of the 2017 China Car Performance Challenge aimed at the general public, showing non-professional racing drivers the fun and exhilarating experience of automotive events through a real competition format.
It is reported that in the 2017 Kunlun Lubricants King of Cars Contest · Dafeng round, the 15 top racers from all over the country will compete fiercely in a closed-loop, dual-start, mirror butterfly track competition. Unlike the long-distance test using desert and gobi terrain chosen at Karamay, the "long-distance economy test event" at Dafeng will take place on the famous high-speed ring road of the Yancheng proving ground. The high-speed ring road has a total length of 7,850 m, and its lane 4 can withstand high-speed testing at a maximum speed of 300 km/h; it is currently the fastest high-speed ring road among third-party proving grounds in Asia, fully demonstrating the high-speed endurance of vehicles. In addition, the Kunlun Lubricants King of Cars Contest will hold a "high-ring exhibition race" here, where contestants can feel the thrill of racing competition while achieving self-transcendence.
