Hohhot Railway Bureau, PetroChina Inner Mongolia Sales Company and PetroChina Lubricant Company Hold Cooperation Talks

On August 22, the Hohhot Railway Bureau, PetroChina Inner Mongolia Sales Company and PetroChina Lubricant Company held a negotiation meeting to exchange views on strategic cooperation between Kunlun Lubricants and the Hohhot Railway Bureau.
The meeting began with the Lubricant Company introducing the basic situation of “Kunlun” lubricants, and the Hohhot Bureau explaining the railway's main equipment and current oil use. The three parties held in-depth talks on specific matters such as the technical access of “Kunlun” lubricants to the railway market, business cooperation models and market cultivation and development, and determined to start from concrete lubricant business cooperation to drive deeper and closer strategic cooperation in content and direction.
First, the Lubricant Company will organize a technical expert team to go deep into station and depot work sites, study the oil use situation at locomotive, rolling stock and railway maintenance sites, and propose a systematic lubrication plan for the Hohhot Railway Bureau's equipment.
Second, the strategic cooperation platform between Inner Mongolia Sales and the Hohhot Railway Bureau will be used well; for repair operations where oil use is relatively concentrated, a centralized lubrication service model will be tried, and distribution services can be implemented at railway construction project sites to expand sales.
Third, the Hohhot Railway Bureau will take the lead in promoting access for railway system centrally procured oils such as fifth-generation locomotive oil; the three parties will jointly coordinate efforts to advance the entry of third- and fourth-generation locomotive lubricants into the Hohhot Railway Bureau market.
Fourth, the three parties agreed to speed up the design of cooperation models and advance the cooperation process, and at the national railway locomotive affairs on-site meeting and the on-site meeting on cooperation experience between the Hohhot Railway Bureau and Inner Mongolia Sales to be held in September, they will present the lubricant business cooperation, expand the influence of the tripartite cooperation and of the “Kunlun” lubricants it promotes across the entire railway system, and create conditions for expanding “Kunlun” lubricants' share across the railway system and for deeper strategic cooperation, making it a model of cooperation between China Railway Corporation and PetroChina.
Chen Bo, deputy director of the Hohhot Railway Bureau, and 9 others; Liu Hehe, general manager of Inner Mongolia Sales, and 6 others; and Wang Ling, general manager of the Lubricant Company, with a professional team of 10, took part in the talks, and the three parties set up a leading group to advance the cooperation.
