मोटरसाइकिल तेल From August 13 to 15, 2020, PetroChina Lubricant Company took part in the world's first simulated arc discharge and pressure relief test inside a real 500 kV AC transformer bushing turret on the grid side of a UHV converter transformer, completed by the UHV Department of State Grid at the Suzhou Electrical Apparatus Science Research Institute. Nearly one hundred people from relevant State Grid units, major domestic transformer manufacturers and experts and scholars in related fields witnessed the arc discharge test and discussed the test technology.
Kunlun Lubricant is the only designated transformer oil brand in the UHV field. It provided the test oil for this test, guaranteed the smooth progress of the test with excellent product quality, gave full play to the responsibility and commitment of a state-owned enterprise, and provided strong support for the innovative development of China's electric power technology.
Military-grade quality supporting power technology innovation
Safety is the unchanging theme of transformers. The "simulated arc discharge test inside a real 500 kV AC transformer bushing turret" conducted on the high-current, high-explosive-energy arc discharge test platform of the Suzhou Electrical Apparatus Science Research Institute successfully completed all scheduled test items, among which the maximum arc energy reached 20 megajoules and the instantaneous maximum power was about 300,000 kilowatts. This is a major innovation in China's electric power development and the first of its kind in the history of world transformer development.
The test accurately measured the transient transfer process of the various parameters of arc discharge in the oil inside the turret and obtained the evolution characteristics of characteristic parameters such as pressure, temperature and strain inside the converter transformer turret. The test filled the gap in research on the process by which the grid-side turret of a UHV converter transformer bursts and catches fire under fault current, innovated a high-current, high-explosive-energy test method and opened up a new direction for theoretical research on arc deflagration under high current in transformers. From then on, arc discharge and deflagration faults inside transformers will move from simulation calculations to full-scale real tests, allowing every discharge and deflagration inside a transformer to be truly reproduced and every design detail to be verified by test, thereby reducing the risk of transformer deflagration.
Kunlun Lubricant participated in and witnessed this great historic moment, demonstrating its technical strength and product quality. Independent R&D safeguarding UHV power transmission
UHV power transmission is the "main artery" that guarantees energy security, and transformers are one of the core components of UHV power transmission projects. Transformer oil flows between the components inside a transformer and can provide insulation, cooling, information carrying and arc extinction, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the transformer.
