As one of the organizers of the exhibition, the Kunlun Lubricants Additives Business Unit and the Greases and Fluids Business Unit of PetroChina's lubricant company made their debut, bringing the latest single additives, lubricant additive packages for passenger and commercial vehicles, marine oil additive packages and special greases for robots, high-speed rail, construction machinery, automobiles and metallurgy – more than 80 products in total. Gu Chunting, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Li Xiaodong, Deputy General Manager of PetroChina's lubricant company, Peng Hongbin, Assistant General Manager of CNOOC Oil & Petrochemicals Co., Ltd., and Pi Tianfu, Director of the Brand Development Department of Sinopec Lubricant Co., Ltd., took part in the opening ceremony together.
Since its inception, the China International Lubricants Exhibition has become more than a simple trading platform; it is also the largest industry gathering for elite figures in the lubricant industry. Leading in technology: Kunlun Lubricants draws up the grand "3369" blueprint
As China's number one lubricant products exhibition, this year's number of exhibitors and exhibition scale reached a new high, covering more than 200 brand enterprises from 15 countries and regions. PetroChina's lubricant company is located in Area A001 of Hall 3, divided into two exhibition areas – Kunlun Lubricants additives and lubricating greases, and metalworking fluids – bringing the latest high-performance domestic lubricant additive packages, high-end greases and lubricants. It fully demonstrates to people from all walks of life inside and outside the industry Kunlun's comprehensive strength in driving the development of the national lubricant industry through scientific and technological innovation.
On the opening day, Zhai Yuekui, Deputy General Manager of the PetroChina Kunlun Lubricants Additives Business Unit, and Feng Legang, head of the Greases and Fluids Business Unit, jointly gave a media interview, making important statements about the products and the industry.
Zhai Yuekui said that what they brought to the exhibition this time are all the latest products developed by the two R&D centers of PetroChina's lubricant company in Lanzhou and Dalian, including single additives; lubricant additive packages for passenger and commercial vehicles; marine oil additive packages; gear oil additive packages and other industrial oil additive packages, with 10 single additive and 40 additive package varieties in total. The establishment of the Additives Business Unit is an important measure for market-oriented operation and long-term development of the additives business segment; it can effectively integrate R&D, production and sales and help shape the company's core competitiveness.
Feng Legang said that the DG-2 harmonic reducer grease and RV reducer grease independently developed by the Kunlun greases and fluids business unit have successfully crossed technical barriers, performing steadily and reliably in continuous operation tests at representative enterprises in the robot industry, and achieving a major breakthrough in high-end domestic grease technology. Kunlun's wide-temperature-range wire rope protective grease, with its good low-temperature, water-resistant and protective performance, has been successfully applied on the "Xuelong" polar research vessel, accompanying the Antarctic expedition team in conquering the ice dome at minus 50 degrees and providing the best lubrication guarantee for the national scientific expedition cause.
This year, PetroChina's lubricant company selected its best personnel to establish the Kunlun Additives Business Unit and the Kunlun Greases and Fluids Business Unit, which is an intrinsic requirement of PetroChina lubricants' grand "3369" blueprint and an important measure in implementing "Made in China 2025", and also marks Kunlun additives and greases and fluids moving comprehensively into the market to take part in global competition.
With the full support that PetroChina's lubricant company gives in terms of funding, technology, personnel and equipment, the two business units have guaranteed sustainable development from technology R&D to production and processing.
