Kunlun Transformer Oil Enters the High-End Power Transmission and Transformation Market

On January 14, Kunlun KI50X ultra-high-voltage AC/DC universal transformer oil was filled into an 800 kV ultra-high-voltage AC/DC universal transformer, the world's highest voltage class, and has run stably for 20 days since being successfully energized at the Shanghai Fengxian converter station. This marks the successful entry of the transformer oil developed and produced by the Karamay Lubricant Plant of PetroChina Lubricant Company into the high-end market of the power transmission and transformation sector.
This 800 kV ultra-high-voltage power transmission line extends from the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station at the border of Sichuan and Yunnan to Shanghai, with a total length of 2,000 kilometers, making it the world's longest ultra-high-voltage power transmission line. Its power exchange scale reaches 6,400 MW, more than twice the world's largest rated power at present.
All the oil used in the 800 kV ultra-high-voltage power transmission line is PetroChina Kunlun KI50X ultra-high-voltage AC/DC transformer oil. Following the successful application of naphthenic transformer oil in 500 kV DC lines such as Huhu-Liao, Yunguang, Lingbao and Ningdong, this is another breakthrough for Kunlun transformer oil in the high-end power transmission and transformation market.
