On July 11, the CNPC Open Day event, themed 'New Technology, New Craft, New Products—Tracing High-Quality Oils, Supporting Green and Low-Carbon Development', was successfully held in Karamay. The event was co-hosted by Kunlun Lubricants and PetroChina Karamay Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (Karamay Petrochemical), inviting media reporters, customer representatives and partners to visit Karamay Petrochemical and the Karamay Lubricant Plant to experience up close the unique quality of CNPC's naphthenic base oils and the outstanding charm of specialty oil products, and to witness the new achievements of CNPC's refining-and-chemicals integration transformation and upgrading.

Zhang Jianxin, General Manager of PetroChina Lubricant Company, said that Karamay heavy oil is known as the 'rare earth' of petroleum and that Kunlun naphthenic products are the industry's 'giant products'. Using Karamay naphthenic oil as the base oil and combined with advanced production processes, the transformer oil independently developed by Kunlun Lubricants is the only lubricant product in the domestic lubricant industry that has completely independent technology, is fully localized and is exported overseas on a large scale. During the event, everyone jointly visited Karamay Petrochemical's No. 2 central control room and the plant's blending workshop. Through the docent's detailed explanations of the plant processes, process technology and the types and properties of oil products, everyone gained a preliminary understanding of the company's various production units and overall situation, experienced up close the achievements of Karamay Petrochemical and Kunlun Lubricants in safe production, clean environmental protection and green development, and learned that petroleum is closely related to our lives.

Subsequently, Kunlun Lubricants released new technologies and new products for transformer oil and high-end rubber oil, aiming to bring users a more efficient and more environmentally friendly experience and to provide impetus for the industry's green transformation. Wang Huijuan, a technical expert from the Lanzhou R&D Center, gave everyone an in-depth explanation of Kunlun Lubricants' transformer oil and rubber oil.
At the same time, Karamay Petrochemical also released a series of new products including refrigeration machine oil, premium white oil and coolant, and Li Rong, Chief Expert of Karamay Petrochemical Company, introduced the products to everyone.
