Kunlun Lubrication achieves its first application in the magnesium mining industry

Recently, Kunlun Lubrication’s grease products were successfully applied at Haicheng Zhonghao Magnesium Industry Group, replacing competing grease products. This is the first application of Kunlun Lubrication products in the magnesium mining industry.
Haicheng Zhonghao Magnesium Group is a large domestic manufacturer of magnesia refractories integrating R&D, production, sales, and comprehensive services. Magnesite ore has a wide range of applications, among which its use in high-temperature refractories is particularly important and serves as a vital pillar for the healthy development of the high-temperature refractory industry. Machinery in the magnesite ore industry, especially conveyor belt bearings, has a tremendous demand for grease products. At the same time, since the magnesite ore industry operates in a semi-open environment, it has stringent requirements for the water resistance of grease products.
As one of China’s “national teams” in the lubricants industry, Kunlun Lubricants closely monitors the oil (grease) requirements of the magnesium mining industry.
In order to open up applications for Kunlun Lubricants products in the magnesium mining industry, Kunlun Lubricants' Wuxi Grease Company actively conducted market research. Starting in early 2022, in response to Haicheng Zhonghao Magnesium Industry Group's demand for grease products, Kunlun's grease technical experts held several rounds of technical exchanges with the customer and finally reached cooperation with Haicheng Zhonghao Magnesium Industry Group. Through research visits, sampling and analysis, a customized product development plan was drawn up, and the Kunlun KL-D grease product was successfully developed. After trial substitution for the competing grease product, Kunlun KL-D grease achieved good trial results, effectively extending the product's service cycle, delivering cost savings and efficiency gains for the customer, and winning unanimous praise from the customer.
The successful application of Kunlun KL-D grease at Haicheng Zhonghao Magnesium Industry Group has opened up the application of Kunlun grease products in the magnesium mining industry. Going forward, Kunlun Lubricants will continue to focus on the grease needs of the magnesium mining industry and actively promote cooperation with other magnesium mines in Xiuyan, Anshan.
