Experts from the Heat and Fluid Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University Visit the Karamay Lubricant Plant for Technical Exchange

On March 24, Dr. Wu Jiangtao, director of the Heat and Fluid Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University, came to the Karamay Lubricant Plant by invitation to carry out technical exchange activities on the measurement of the thermal conductivity of transformer oil, and gave a special report entitled "Measurement of the Thermal Conductivity of Fluids."
The report gave a comprehensive introduction to the research fields, research projects, technical level, equipment and facilities, research results and international cooperation of the Heat and Fluid Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University, and explained in detail "the study of the transient hot-wire method and its application in measuring the thermal conductivity of transformer oil." More than 10 people from departments such as the production technology section, the quality, safety and environmental protection section, the planning section and the research institute of the Karamay Lubricant Plant attended this special report meeting.
As a specially appointed professor under Xi'an Jiaotong University's Tengfei Talent Programme and an associate editor of the journal JCED of the American Chemical Society, Dr. Wu Jiangtao's visit is of extremely important significance for the Karamay Lubricant Plant in establishing a method for measuring the thermal conductivity of transformer oil, thereby further expanding the research field of transformer oil heat dissipation performance and promoting the establishment of the Karamay Lubricant Plant's transformer oil key laboratory.
