Kunlun Lubricant Northwest Sales Branch Achieves Another Breakthrough in Direct Supply to Jiugang

On December 28, 2015, 1,950 drums (330 tons) of Kunlun KLR9304B metal rolling fluid were slowly injected into the No. 5 rolling mill of the stainless steel plant of Jiugang Group, marking a breakthrough for Kunlun metal rolling oil in entering China's iron and steel sector and representing a new gain for the Northwest Sales Branch after it began direct supply to Jiugang Group.
In the early spring of 2015, Jiugang Group and the Northwest Branch signed a 'Contract for Supply from Consignment Stock' on lubricant supply, agreeing that the Northwest Sales Branch would supply Kunlun oil products directly to Jiugang Group, opening up an innovative approach to lubricant sales. In 2015 steel enterprises operated with difficulty, and Jiugang Group had to reduce costs and increase efficiency in order to respond to the market. Replacing imported oils with Kunlun therefore became the main task of the Northwest Sales Branch. The metal rolling oil used by the stainless steel plant of Jiugang Group was the Mobil AH70 and Kuwait Petroleum Q8 series, with annual usage of 1,500 tons. Because of the direct supply model, the Northwest Sales Branch not only grasped Jiugang Group's real needs but was also involved in equipment management, on-site service and oil knowledge training, building a bridge for Kunlun KLR9304B metal rolling fluid to move into Jiugang Group at the right moment.
To do a good job of the oil substitution work, staff of the Lanzhou R&D Center made several trips to conduct surveys and, in accordance with on-site requirements and the lubrication characteristics of stainless steel sheet, provided an 'Overall Lubrication Plan' from the perspective of operation and maintenance, undertaking to carry out uninterrupted oil testing and analysis during the rolling mill trial run and to provide an 'Oil Product Emergency Plan' as a safeguard. The dedication of the professional technical team and its meticulous and effective work finally dispelled all the concerns of the engineers of the stainless steel plant, so that Kunlun's 'Technical Agreement on Trial Use of KLR9304B Rolling Oil' was signed smoothly. As of the time of publication, Kunlun KLR9304B had been tried on steel grades including 304, 430, 409L, 321 and 2205, and the rolling performance left both the technical staff of the stainless steel plant of Jiugang Group and the Lanzhou R&D staff tackling the problem on site very satisfied.
Always attentive to customer needs and responding to what customers require, the successful injection of 330 tons of Kunlun KLR9304B into the No. 5 rolling mill at Jiugang Group is the fruit of the Northwest Sales Branch's innovative new approach to direct supply and its timely satisfaction of customer needs.
