Company Holds 2015 Video Conference on Combating Corruption and Promoting Integrity

On March 6, the company held a video conference on combating corruption and promoting integrity to study, communicate and implement the spirit of the group company's work conference on the same subject. A total of 491 people took part, including the company's leadership team, the assistant to the general manager, deputy chief engineers, cadres at section level and above from headquarters divisions and 21 secondary units, and discipline inspection and supervision management staff.
The meeting studied and implemented the spirit of the main speeches by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Wang Qishan, Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection; it communicated and studied the speech of Zhou Jiping, secretary of the Party group of the group company, at the group company's work conference on combating corruption and promoting integrity, and the work report of Xu Jiming, head of the discipline inspection group of the group company's Party group, at the same conference; relayed the group company discipline inspection group's notice on statistics of cases handled by the group company's discipline inspection and supervision system in 2014; and the Audit and Supervision Division set out the company's audit and supervision work for 2015.
At the meeting, when communicating the spirit of the conference, General Manager Wang Ling stressed that while the meeting is important, what matters more is to earnestly implement its spirit in actions and in specific work, to strictly carry out 'one post, two responsibilities', and to manage Party conduct and clean government education, management and supervision in one's own business and system, so as to achieve clarity about responsibilities, knowledge of responsibilities and fulfillment of responsibilities.
Party committee secretary Xu Yuanke gave a concluding speech, requiring the Party committees of all secondary units to attach great importance to and fully recognize the importance and urgency of combating corruption and promoting integrity under the new circumstances, to earnestly study, publicize and implement General Secretary Xi's important speech and the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and to place work on combating corruption and promoting integrity in a prominent position as a powerful guarantee for the company's sustained and scientific development. He called for unswervingly advancing Party conduct and clean government building and anti-corruption work, persistently implementing the spirit of the Central Committee's eight-point regulations and the group company's 20 requirements, and embodying the group company's deployment and requirements at every level of production, operations and R&D so that they become concrete practice in the work of units at all levels.
The meeting required the Party committee study groups of each unit to focus their study on the group company's deployment for combating corruption and promoting integrity, with the leadership team's study and team members' discussion records reported to the company's discipline inspection commission.
