Company Holds Special Training on Labor Law and on Energy Strategy and Oil and Gas Markets

On the morning of January 9, the company invited Professor Lin Jia of the Law School of Renmin University of China to give special legal training on 'Labor Law and Its Application'.

In the training, Professor Lin combined national policies, legal provisions and relevant cases to give a vivid, incisive and precise analysis of laws concerning labor contracts and labor protection. After the lecture, General Counsel Li Nan pointed out that studying the labor law system had effectively raised the company's awareness of identifying and preventing labor law risks and provided ample legal wisdom and support for the company to further establish harmonious labor relations in accordance with the law and to mobilize and strengthen the broad ranks of cadres' and employees' enthusiasm for work and their sense of identification with the enterprise. On the afternoon of January 9, the company also invited Professor Dong Xiucheng of China University of Petroleum to give an in-depth and thorough analysis and interpretation of the topic 'International Energy Strategy and Oil and Gas Market Outlook'.

Combining the current energy situation, Professor Dong gave an in-depth and brilliant lecture on international energy development trends, international energy geopolitics, the current state of and challenges facing China's energy development, and China's energy strategic goals and energy policies. After the lecture, Chief Accountant Sun Yanbo summarized: through Professor Dong's in-depth interpretation, participants gained a clearer and more accurate understanding of China's energy situation and of how China's energy strategy and policies were formed. The lecture was rich in content and clear in analysis and stimulated much thought. More than 400 people took part in the training, including some members of the company's leadership team, the assistant to the general manager, deputy chief engineers, and staff from headquarters departments and secondary units.
