Kunlun and Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Truck Join Hands for Common Development

Hit by the international financial crisis, demand in the lubricant market contracted at one point in 2009 and the sales situation became increasingly severe. In response, the Northwest Branch responded proactively, adhered to brand-based operations, adopted proactive and prudent marketing strategies and vigorously developed the high-end lubricant market. Its sales staff stepped up visits to OEMs, key accounts and end customers and, in line with customers' actual situations, continuously improved their service and competitive awareness and promoted the upgrading of the products customers use.
Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Truck is China's second largest and the northwest's largest heavy truck manufacturer, producing 50,000 heavy trucks in the first 10 months of 2009. At the beginning of the year, the company began formal production of Euro III standard heavy trucks. Once the Northwest Branch learned of this, it immediately formulated a targeted market development plan. Kunlun's quality service, solid oil quality assurance and satisfactory after-sales service commitments won the recognition of Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Truck.
As early as May 2006, Mr. Luo of the company had frequent contacts with the senior management of Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Truck Automobile Co., Ltd. and established a strategic partnership between the two sides. The Lubricant Company also held a seminar on technology, service and quality at Shaanxi Automobile. Kunlun Lubricant and Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Truck Manufacturing Company have long maintained a good cooperative relationship.
Over the past few years, Kunlun has made major contributions to the development of Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Truck, achieving mutual benefit. This cooperation project was also rated a first prize for company-level VIC development in 2008. At present, all factory-fill oil at Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Truck uses Kunlun oil, with 1,700 tons of factory-fill oil (Kunlun oil) supplied, and the oil grade upgraded from the original Tianhong CD 15W-40 to CF-4 15W-40 factory-fill oil. These achievements are the result of the joint efforts of the whole company. The road ahead is still long and arduous, but we firmly believe that with unremitting effort we will surely achieve even greater success.
