Kunlun Grease Sponsors Free Dealer Training Sessions

Since the start of 2008, China's lubricant industry has undergone enormous change, with market prices climbing sharply before sliding quickly in line with international crude oil. As economic growth later slows, the impact is bound to spread to the automotive and industrial sectors in due course and, in turn, to lubricant consumption. Not only manufacturers but also dealers face considerable risk, yet opportunity and risk always coexist.
At the 64th Auto Parts Fair held on 1 November, a free dealer training and exchange session was held in parallel, bringing together technology, market and marketing professionals from the industry to explore the development of the lubricant market and of oil product technology, as well as dealer channel operations and management.
The session received strong support from Kunlun Grease. A head of the company's marketing centre said the meeting was only a beginning for Kunlun Grease, which will take part in more such events in the future.

Its specialty products, including various high- and low-temperature greases, are designated for domestic military, aviation, aerospace, railway and automotive use. Its market covers steel, mining, shipping, instrumentation and many other sectors.

Strong technical advantages establish the products' leading position in the industry, and continuous investment in technology ensures the company's long-term development.
It now has more than 30 refining and chemical units of various kinds, with the main production units under DCS control. Among them, the completion and commissioning of the 2.5-million-tonne-per-year atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, the 300,000-tonne reformer and the 150,000-tonne hydrogenation combined unit have raised the integrated crude oil processing capacity to a new level of 00 ten-thousand tonnes (the figure is garbled in the source text). At the same time, the company has developed and produced a series of specialty oils with strong market adaptability, represented by No. 5 aviation hydraulic oil, a product exclusive to the company in China; over the years more than 20 products have been named national, provincial or ministerial quality products. By strengthening management and cutting costs through technological innovation, the company has steadily expanded its profit margins and blazed a distinctive, efficiency-driven path of operation.
