Kunlun Lubricants Launches Cooperation with China North Industries Group Materials Corporation

On July 27, China North Industries Group Materials Corporation and the company signed a cooperation framework agreement in Beijing. The two sides intend to carry out comprehensive cooperation in areas including guaranteed lubricant supply for Norinco Group, research and development of lubricants for key equipment and machinery, and development of dedicated lubricants for special environments. Zhang Hongli, Deputy General Manager of China North Industries Group Materials Corporation Co., Ltd., and Gong Weijun, Deputy General Manager of the company, attended the signing ceremony.
China North Industries Group Corporation (Norinco Group) is the main body for the research and development of army weaponry and equipment and a backbone force in the development of damage and informationized equipment for the three services; it currently has 51 subsidiary groups and directly managed units and has established dozens of overseas branches around the world. At present, lubricant procurement at Norinco Group is basically decentralized, with each subsidiary group purchasing independently. As Norinco Group promotes transparent materials procurement, lubricant purchasing by all subsidiary groups is required to be unified through the Norinco Group online supermarket, and China North Industries Group Materials Corporation Co., Ltd. has been authorized to manage the daily operation of that online supermarket.
Regarding the cooperation between the two sides, Zhang Hongli said that the lubricants company has unified brand management, quality management, service standards and pricing policies, possesses technical and locational advantages, and can provide guarantees for military enterprises in terms of quality, service and price. As the first product category in our industrial goods supermarket, Kunlun Lubricants should be promoted as quickly as possible, starting with new vehicle models and providing a comprehensive lubricant solution, so as to obtain the key to entering other military fields in the next step. He said: "Using Kunlun Lubricants' products is a good thing for military equipment. Signing the cooperation agreement is only the beginning, and going forward the lubricants company will still need to provide strong support for the military field. We invite experts from the lubricants company to visit our assembly plants and design institutes and exchange views on site with design and R&D personnel."
Gong Weijun said that this is a highly efficient model of cooperation and that the company is willing to carry out comprehensive cooperation with military enterprises. "The operating environment of military equipment is relatively complex, which places higher demands on lubricant quality. As a specialized lubricant manufacturer, we have the capability and the confidence to provide military enterprises with quality products, first-class service and logistics support." He expressed the hope of becoming involved from the design and development stage of military products, so as to contribute to the development of China's military industry.
