Fu Xisheng Named a "Model of Central Enterprises" in the Sixth Edition

On December 22, the Party Committee of SASAC of the State Council held the release ceremony for the sixth "Model of Central Enterprises" in Beijing. Among them, the company's chief scientist Fu Xisheng was awarded the honorary title of "Model of Central Enterprises".

Fu Xisheng is currently a first-level technical expert of the enterprise at PetroChina Lubricant Company, receiving a special government allowance from the State Council, and has won honours including outstanding Communist Party member of central enterprises, model worker of central enterprises and the Outstanding Achievement Award of the Science and Technology Award of China National Petroleum Corporation. As a Communist Party member with 25 years of Party membership, he has long worked on the frontline of scientific research, leading his team to stand at the forefront of innovation and repeatedly break foreign technology blockades, with 32 authorised invention patents, all of which have achieved industrial application.
A scientific research pioneer who does only one thing in his life
Over 34 years, with the full support of PetroChina and Kunlun Lubricant, Fu Xisheng has devoted himself to the scientific research and development of the world's most high-end lubricants and additives, leading the Kunlun Lubricant research team to concentrate on R&D of key core lubricant technologies and to persevere in catching up with foreign peers:
"Gear oil extreme-pressure anti-wear agent and compound additive preparation technology and industrial application" won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award, ending the history of China's gear oil and its compound additive market being monopolised by "foreign oil" and achieving catch-up and surpassing of foreign lubrication technology;
Independent additive technologies solved the four major technical bottlenecks of gear oil - cleanliness, long life, anti-wear and energy saving - and invented China's first sulphur-phosphorus general-purpose gear oil compound additive and first manual transmission fluid compound additive, filling domestic gaps; the national standard GB5903 for China's industrial enclosed gear oils, which he led the revision of, brought the quality level of China's industrial enclosed gear oils in line with international levels.

The gear oils developed successively by the Kunlun Lubricant team have been successfully applied in China's high-end equipment such as heavy-duty vehicles, wind power generation, new energy vehicles and industrial robots, and China's gear oil compound additive technology has reached the international leading level;
The multi-effect gear oil developed was the only designated oil for the National Day 70th anniversary parade;
The invented lubricant compound additive for the whole transmission system of 350 km/h high-speed rail has been successfully applied to China's "Fuxing" high-speed train, providing technical support for Chinese high-speed rail going global;
He invented the world's first alkyl salicylate system automatic transmission fluid compound additive, effectively guaranteeing the lubrication of high-load automatic transmissions and having been successfully applied to important national equipment; he invented a general-purpose lubricant compound additive for gear and hydraulic transmission systems, effectively solving micro-pitting of wind power gears over long cycles and precise positioning of industrial robots, extending service life 1.5 times and achieving energy saving, environmental protection and longevity, seeking development for the country and welfare for the people.
"My greater goal is to let China's lubricant technology form a complete industrial chain, achieve the shift from Made in China to Created in China and hold the core technologies of every link in our own hands. Winning 'Model of Central Enterprises' this time is an affirmation of the work of myself and the Kunlun Lubricant team over the past thirty-plus years; next we will continue to work hard and make new contributions to China's lubricant industry," Fu Xisheng said.
Since SASAC released the first "Model of Central Enterprises" in 2017, Wang Jie of PetroChina's Nile Company, Chen Jianjun of Yumen Oilfield, the Yamal project team, and Liang Nanyu, senior audit manager of PetroChina's Overseas Audit Centre and a member of the eighth and ninth batches of cadres aiding Tibet, have won this title.
