Kunlun Lubricant Brings Lubrication Science into the Campus

As the October race of the Kunlun Lubricant Cup 2011 Formula Student China drew closer, the campus tour of Formula Student China began to enter a period of intensive activity. On September 15 and 16, the campus tour visited three universities in succession: Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology and Jiangsu University. As the full supporter of this event, Kunlun Lubricant, upholding its core value of care, sent lubrication experts to bring professional lubrication knowledge into the campuses and to answer students' questions, supporting the Formula Student competition.

Formula Student China is a competition in automotive design, manufacturing and use in which student teams from automotive engineering or related majors at higher education institutions take part. It is understood that 33 student racing teams entered this year's competition; at present, the teams of the various universities are in the sprint stage of car manufacturing, and many cars have taken shape one after another. From October 17 to 21, the 33 teams will travel to Shanghai with their respective dreams to compete, exchanging views with the other participating teams through an event brimming with youth, passion and dreams.

During the campus tour in Jiangsu, the competition organizing committee and Kunlun Lubricant experts visited the car manufacturing workshops of Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology and Jiangsu University, listened to reports from each team on its preparations, and encouraged the student racers to press ahead with car manufacturing and get ready for the race. Lubrication experts from PetroChina Lubricant Company, starting from the lubrication needs of automotive engines and race cars, gave the students vivid, comprehensive and professional popular science lectures on lubricants in an accessible way, and patiently and meticulously answered the lubrication problems the students encountered in car manufacturing, helping them solve those problems and lending a hand to realize their dreams, which was warmly welcomed by the teachers and students present.

It is understood that after the Jiangsu campus tour, the campus tour activities will continue successively in Xiamen, Tianjin and other places.
