On June 17, the "PetroChina Open Day - Walking into Kunlun Lubricant" event hosted by Kunlun Lubricant was successfully held. Themed "Petroleum workers' hearts turn to the Party", this PetroChina Open Day carried on the red gene and promoted the petroleum spirit, showing the brand-new image of a Chinese national brand in the new era on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. More than 20 top domestic media outlets visited Kunlun Lubricant's Beijing lubricant plant, getting up close to the production frontline and learning about Kunlun Lubricant's new development and new changes on its new journey in an all-round way.
Xiao Hongwei, Executive Director and Party Secretary of PetroChina Lubricant Company, attended the event and said that Kunlun Lubricant has a patriotic gene, a gene for making the country strong and also a military gene - an innate red gene. Visits and discussion showcase Kunlun Lubricant's red heritage
Media representatives learned about Kunlun Lubricant's brand development journey by watching the corporate promotional film. Led by staff, they visited the Kunlun Lubricant exhibition hall, laboratory, central control room and workshops to learn in depth about Kunlun Lubricant's technological R&D achievements supporting China's national defence, high-speed rail, wind power, nuclear power industry, UHV projects, robotics industry and Handan Steel's smart lubrication, as well as Kunlun Lubricant's ultra-long-mileage solutions and butler-style services. Stepping onto the production frontline, they experienced up close Kunlun Lubricant's advanced testing systems, strict quality control processes and scientific and rigorous modern production techniques and lines.
The guests first watched a video of the final of the PetroChina Beijing-based units' singing competition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party, which had just concluded on June 16, feeling the passionate spirit of Kunlun Lubricant people. In the discussion session, three generations of Kunlun Lubricant people told red stories passed down from generation to generation, fully demonstrating Kunlun Lubricant's founding mission in breaking new ground, its strength in shouldering responsibility as a mainstay and its spiritual inheritance carried forward, and within these stories they presented Kunlun Lubricant's scientific research achievements.
