With its outstanding independent R&D strength, Kunlun Lubricant keeps achieving breakthroughs from zero: its high-speed rail gear oil replaced Japanese products, breaking the foreign technological monopoly and being successfully applied to "Fuxing" train sets; its independently developed special lubricating grease for robots has reached the international advanced level and filled a domestic gap; its wind power gear oil has been successfully applied to megawatt-class wind turbines, breaking the monopoly of foreign brands; and its transformer oil became the only designated oil for the world's first plus/minus 1,100 kV power transmission project. In particular, 'Extreme-pressure anti-wear additives for gear oils, composite agent preparation technology and industrial application' won a National Technological Invention Award, which shows that Kunlun Lubricant's independent gear oil technology is unique in the world, and that this invention has been comprehensively promoted and applied in the automotive, steel, coal, cement and wind power industries and in the military field as a replacement for imported products. Kunlun Lubricant's ultimate goal is to have all core technologies in our own hands."

The experience officers seized the rare opportunity and actively held in-depth exchanges with Chief Scientist Fu and the technical team, learning about the lubrication problems that Kunlun Lubricant's R&D team has solved for important fields such as high-speed rail, wind power, ultra-high-voltage transmission and robotics: Kunlun Lubricant's gearbox lubricating oil for high-speed train sets solved the difficulty of maintaining oil film strength in high-speed bearings for high-speed rail, providing lubrication assurance for China's high-speed rail to go global; the special oil for advanced methanol engines solved problems such as engine corrosion and excessive combustion chamber deposits, with remarkable emission reduction effects and detergency and dispersancy; and its long-life products solved in one stop the problems of high vehicle maintenance costs, poor uptime and oil change intervals, breaking the foreign monopoly in the industry.
