VIC Training, Exchange and Industry Report Competition Meeting Held in Lanzhou

In order to further improve the business capabilities of the company's VIC development personnel, raise their understanding of their industries and their ability to manage equipment lubrication, and strengthen experience exchange among branches, PetroChina Lubricant Company recently held a meeting in Lanzhou covering VIC training, experience exchange, work discussion and an industry report competition. More than 60 people attended the meeting, including management personnel of the VIC project team at the company's headquarters, leaders of the marketing departments or departments in charge of VIC work at the six sales branches, key project managers, and directors of the technical service departments of the R&D centers, research and development technical service specialists and industry research report writers.
The meeting first held discussions on the 2008 VIC work summary and the 2009 work plan, and research backbones from the Lanzhou R&D Center and the Dalian R&D Center carried out the 2009 Lubricant Company industry research report competition. The meeting also introduced new products and the main products to be promoted in 2009 to the sales representatives attending, focusing on the performance, testing and trial use, and early-stage promotion of new products such as MTF18, the wind power series and fire-resistant hydraulic oil, and clarified new thinking and new directions for VIC development work. Around VIC development and maintenance, the sales branches gave presentations of typical cases, which broadened thinking on VIC development and better helped the branches carry out VIC customer development and maintenance work well. In addition, the meeting also commended the 2008 VIC award-winning projects and the winners of this industry research report competition.
At the meeting, Lubricant Company Vice General Manager Luo Guiru expounded the important significance of VIC development and maintenance work under the current economic situation and called on everyone to firm up confidence, pioneer and innovate, and do a good job in VIC and market sales work in 2009, contributing to the sustained, stable and coordinated development of Lubricant Company.
