Kunlun Lubricants: The 2017 China Lubrication Technology Forum Is About to Open

Planning ahead for a long road. Kunlun Lubricants, a brand under PetroChina's lubricant company and a representative of domestic brands, once again plays the role of pioneer in the year of deepening supply-side structural reform, leading the development of China's lubricant industry.
The editorial department of Lubricants magazine, which belongs to PetroChina's lubricant company, will grandly hold the 2017 China Lubrication Technology Forum in Kunming, Yunnan Province on September 13-14, 2017. More than 300 delegates from relevant national ministries and commissions, related industry societies, domestic and international lubricant companies, automakers, equipment manufacturers, and well-known universities and research institutes at home and abroad will gather together to focus closely on the central theme of "Opportunities and Challenges of Long Oil Drain Intervals", discuss the development direction of China's lubricant industry, analyze key technical issues, create value for customers and jointly advance "Created in China".
Leading the industry to share the achievements
"Hacking a path through wild mountains and forests, pressing on through wind and rain." From 1986 to 2017, a span of 30 years, the China Lubrication Technology Forum has witnessed the development of China's lubricant industry from simply developing oils that meet specifications to all-round customized development for customers and equipment, and in technical specifications from simulation and imitation to independent establishment; it has now become a weather vane for the development of lubrication technology in China.
In 2017, the China Lubrication Technology Forum again takes hot issues in the lubricant industry as its theme, closely linking to the national economic situation and the opportunities and challenges facing the lubricant industry, and conducting in-depth analysis with experts and scholars to explore solutions. Twenty-four presentations covering four fields – market and trends, vehicle oils, industrial oils and others – will be shared with delegates. Among them, Yu Hai, a senior engineer at the PetroChina Lanzhou Lubricant Research and Development Center, will give a presentation titled "Current Status and Development Trends of Long-Life Vehicle Gear Oils at Home and Abroad", and Liu Zhongguo, Deputy Director of the Lubricant Product Research Institute of the PetroChina Dalian Lubricant Research and Development Center, will present "Development Trends of Hydraulic Oils and Research on Their Service Performance in Construction Machinery". Through forward-looking professional analysis, the forum aims to jointly seek the way forward for the industry.

With 30 years of persistence, the China Lubrication Technology Forum has upheld the principles of mutual assistance and sharing, complementary coexistence and joint construction, and has reaped achievement after achievement.
To enhance the forum's role as a platform for upstream and downstream exchange, this year's forum not only raised its profile, specially inviting many well-known experts including Yue Xin, Michael Anderson, Li Shusheng, Yang Youwen and He Shizhong to join and offer insights, bringing new inspiration for the future development of the lubricant industry, but also added an "interactive discussion" session for the first time, in which experts and leaders from national ministries, automobile and construction machinery industry associations and OEMs will hold a brainstorming session.
