Kunlun turbine oil achieves its first application in PipeChina and safeguards the gateway station of the energy corridor

On December 22, Kunlun KTGS32 extreme-pressure combined-cycle turbine oil officially passed the strict testing of a professional institution; the test report showed that the product's physical and chemical indicators were normal and met the use requirements of the large compressor units of PipeChina West Pipeline Company.
Kunlun KTGS32 extreme-pressure combined-cycle turbine oil completed ignition testing in early December on Unit 4 of the large centrifugal compressor at the Horgos gas compressor first station of PipeChina West Pipeline Company's West-East Gas Pipeline Line 2, during which the compressor unit ran stably and in good condition. This is the first application of a Kunlun Lubrication product at PipeChina West Pipeline Company, marking that the localization of lubricating oil for centrifugal compressor units by Kunlun Lubrication has entered the testing stage and finally passed the test.
The Horgos gas compressor first station of PipeChina West Pipeline is the first station through which the Central Asia natural gas pipeline, a key energy cooperation project of the Belt and Road Initiative, enters China, and it is also the shared leading station of the West-East Gas Pipeline Lines 2 and 3 and the heart of the operation of the entire line.
As the Horgos gas compressor first station is a key project for natural gas supply guarantee for PipeChina, Kunlun Lubrication attached great importance to it, organized it carefully and went all out to advance research on key core technologies. In June 2023, Kunlun Lubrication's Xinjiang Branch and the Product Design Center established a joint research project team for the localization of lubricating oil for West Pipeline Company, and went many times to the production technology service center of West Pipeline Company for technical exchanges and investigations, and formulated a technical plan for the domestic substitution application of lubricating oil. Through unremitting efforts, Kunlun Lubrication finally won high recognition and affirmation from the customer with its outstanding technical strength, excellent product quality and high-quality technical service. Facing the stringent operating requirements of Unit 4 of the centrifugal compressor at the Horgos gas compressor first station, all members of the Kunlun Lubrication project team cooperated fully, kept a close eye on key time nodes and went all out to clear difficulties and bottlenecks; with the requirements of high standard, high quality and high level, they successfully overcame the harsh conditions of the compressor unit's high rotational speed, high exhaust pressure and high bearing return oil temperature, and smoothly completed the operation test.
The successful application of this Kunlun Lubrication turbine oil product on the large compressor unit of PipeChina West Pipeline Company is another milestone application breakthrough after the product's successful application on large centrifugal compressor units in the West-East Gas Pipeline and in refining and chemical enterprises. It is of great significance for alleviating the tight gas supply situation in some areas of Xinjiang and enhancing the natural gas supply guarantee capacity of the pipeline network. Next, Kunlun Lubrication will take this application as an opportunity to continue to do a good job in tracking and service during the long-cycle testing stage of the oil, intensify research on key core technologies, advance the independent and controllable technology of oil for compressor equipment in PipeChina, and contribute Kunlun Lubrication strength to safeguarding national energy security and the high-quality development of PipeChina.
