Party Secretary Xu Yuanke and His Delegation Conduct Research at the North China Lubricant Sales Branch

On March 12, Party Secretary Xu Yuanke and his delegation conducted a work research visit at the North China Lubricant Sales Branch and held a discussion with the branch's leadership team and the heads of its administrative departments. Liu Fengyou, manager of the North China Branch, and Yang Sanjiu, secretary of its Party committee, reported on recent work respectively.

At the discussion, Secretary Xu pointed out that he hoped this exchange among leaders would enable each to learn from the other's strengths, further promote improvement of the product mix, raise the sensitivity and capability of market development, and thereby promote the coordinated and steady development of all the enterprise's work. Regarding the next stage of work, Secretary Xu stressed four points: first, the new leadership team should be united, coordinated and capable in action, with team members supporting, accommodating and understanding one another, and the Party committee's work should closely centre on the branch's central development goals to jointly advance the enterprise's development; second, the development of the sales business should also be advanced as a whole, with the sales force built up, sound assessment and growth mechanisms established to guide employees to be positive and upward-looking and to set high aspirations. In marketing, direct sales are the direction, and, in light of actual conditions, a variety of marketing methods should be used to promote improvement in the product mix, sales volume and performance, while at the same time efforts must be made to reduce the cost per ton of oil; third, the "in-depth study and practice of the Scientific Outlook on Development" activity should be carried out earnestly, deepening understanding of the theoretical system of the Scientific Outlook on Development, doing a good job of combining theory with the enterprise's realities, raising the level of enterprise management and advancing the enterprise's business activities, so that "neither task is neglected and both are promoted"; and fourth, the enterprise's integrity building should be strengthened, management and audit work for subsidiary legal entities reinforced, and standardisation and supervision carried out well so that they develop healthily, steadily and in a coordinated way.
After the discussion, Secretary Xu and his delegation also carried out on-site work research at Beijing Xinyou Company and the Fangshan Storage Center, which are affiliated with the North China Sales Branch.
