Leveraging Collaborative Strengths to Guarantee Urgent Supply: Dispatching Office Coordinates Supply of Small-volume Products Urgently Needed by Baosteel

Recently, after the East China Sales Branch raised a short-term supply requirement, the dispatching office made emergency arrangements with the production plant, ensuring the timely supply of oil products and once again providing customers with satisfactory service.
On the morning of May 21, staff of the Industrial Oil Department of the East China Sales Branch made a routine visit to Baosteel. While researching the replacement of small-variety products, they learned that an electric furnace at the steel pipe branch plant was to undergo maintenance and needed an oil change, and they immediately secured the use of Kunlun No. 46 fire-resistant hydraulic oil for this oil change.
Shanghai Baosteel agreed and asked for the oil to be delivered to a designated location by 10 a.m. on the 28th. As this is a small-variety product, the combined stocks of the Lanzhou Plant and the East China Plant were insufficient to meet the customer's needs. Having learned this at the operations scheduling meeting, the company's dispatching office immediately arranged emergency production at the Lanzhou Plant in an effort to meet product supply by the customer's required date. On receiving the task, the Lanzhou Plant promptly drew up a production guarantee plan, the East China Sales Branch submitted a stocking application to the East China Plant that same day, and the East China Plant simultaneously submitted a replenishment order to the Lanzhou Plant. On the 22nd, Shanghai Baosteel's order requirement was reported into the company system, and before the customer submitted the order the dispatching office had already arranged the work in advance, saving time to ensure timely supply. After receiving the company's arrangements, the Lanzhou Plant urgently organized production, blending, analysis and shipment, and delivered 58 drums of No. 46 fire-resistant hydraulic oil to the East China Plant on the evening of the 27th; to ensure the customer had oil on time on the 28th, the East China Plant then sent the oil overnight to Shanghai Baosteel, delivering the products ahead of time to the oil change site at Baosteel's steel pipe branch plant and earning Shanghai Baosteel's recognition.
Kunlun No. 46 fire-resistant hydraulic oil is a small-variety product of the company. With later sales volumes unpredictable and plant stocks insufficient, the Lanzhou Plant and the East China Plant ensured product supply in the shortest time after the customer raised its requirement, giving full support to the branch in urgently supplying the customer, raising the company's sales staff in the customer's estimation, building the overall image of the Lubricant Company and taking Kunlun Lubricant one step further forward in enhancing market competitiveness.
