New Research Achievement: Kunlun Lubricant Tianwei GL-5 Wins International Certification

Recently Kunlun Lubricant received an oil product certification certificate from Eaton (EATON), the world's leading manufacturer of automotive components. The certification shows that Kunlun Tianwei GL-5 85W-90 and 80W-90 heavy-duty wheel gear oils fully satisfy the demanding service requirements of Eaton differentials.
As a first-class domestic supplier of lubricant products and technical services, Kunlun Lubricant maintains close cooperative relationships with many domestic equipment manufacturers. Among them, Foton Motor is one of the company's important strategic partners: Kunlun Lubricant Company took part in the whole research and development process of one of its new models and drew up an overall lubrication plan for it. During development, when the customer raised the requirement of providing certification from Eaton, the world's leading automotive component manufacturer, for this model's differential oil, the company immediately launched the product certification procedure.
Kunlun Lubricant has two of the strongest lubricant research institutions in China, the Dalian R&D Center and the Lanzhou R&D Center, and on receiving the application it immediately set up a technical team to tackle the problem, quickly determining the product and plan for certification in line with the product requirements of Eaton and Foton Motor, and finally decided to apply for certification for Kunlun Tianwei GL-5 85W-90 and 80W-90 heavy-duty vehicle gear oils. Samples were taken directly from the Kunlun Lubricant production plant and sent to Eaton's laboratory in South Korea for bench testing. After a cumulative 120,000 extremely demanding differential locking tests, the results showed that Kunlun Tianwei gear oil fully meets the performance requirements of Eaton differentials.
Kunlun Tianwei GL-5 is a heavy-duty vehicle gear oil developed entirely with Kunlun Lubricant's own technology. The product embodies the painstaking efforts of several generations of the company's researchers and won a second prize of the National Award for Technological Invention in 2009.
The international certification obtained by Kunlun Tianwei gear oil this time not only reflects the overall advantage of the Lubricant Company's integrated research, development, production and sales but also once again proves the company's ability to develop and produce products that meet the requirements of world-class equipment manufacturers, and shows Kunlun Lubricant's confidence and determination to keep creating value for customers.
