The "Kunlun" special oil for transformers, KI45GX, has successfully entered the Zhongxi joint venture company, Atachi.

The Atachi Group of Spain is one of the leading manufacturers of high-end transformers in the world. It has 10 investment companies and 80 technical service centers worldwide, and its products are exported to more than 120 countries and regions. Atachi Da Yi Transformer Co., Ltd. was jointly established as a Sino-foreign joint venture by the Atachi Group of Spain and the Dalian First Transformer Co., Ltd. of China on March 1, 2007. In June 2007, Atachi Da Yi Transformer Co., Ltd. began to evaluate the products of global insulating oil suppliers. The products evaluated included five from the Swedish NYNAS Company, namely Nytro GBX, Nytro Libra, Nytro 4000A, Nytro 10Xn, Nytro GBX US, and from the Dutch SHELL Company, namely Diala GX, as well as two from the China Petroleum Lubricants Company, namely KI45AX and KI45GX.
In September 2007, the performance of transformer oil generating gas under low heat was evaluated. According to the evaluation results of the Spanish Atachi Group's EAHSA laboratory, the performance of the lubricant company's KI45GX and the NYNAS Company's Nytro10Xn was the best, with the least amount of hydrogen gas produced. According to the evaluation results of Atachi Da Yi Transformer Co., Ltd.'s ADYH laboratory, the performance of the lubricant company's KI45GX was the best. "Kunlun" transformer oil-specific KI45GX successfully passed the evaluation.
In early 2008, the Northeast Sales Branch of China Petroleum Lubricants Company reached an oil supply agreement with Atachi Da Yi Transformer Co., Ltd. In May 2008, the first batch of 100 tons of the new product KI45GX for transformers, which was specially made by the Karamay Lubricants Factory, was successfully produced and delivered to Atachi Da Yi Transformer Co., Ltd., and its quality was inspected and found to meet the technical requirements. In July 2008, the Karamay Lubricants Factory, based on the second purchase plan of KI45GX from Atachi Da Yi Transformer Co., Ltd., organized the production of 150 tons again. The performance tests of all products have been completed, and they have been loaded and shipped to Atachi Da Yi Transformer Co., Ltd.
The successful supply of oil by Atachi Da Yi Transformer Co., Ltd. has laid a good foundation for the lubricant company to enter the other subsidiaries of the Atachi Group of Spain worldwide. At the same time, it once again proves that the product performance of "Kunlun" transformer oil has reached the world-leading level, and can be on par with the products of the two most renowned manufacturers of transformer oil in the world, NYNAS Company and SHELL Company.
