Student racing teams from 32 universities across the country and a team from the Technical University of Munich brought the national audience a spectacular battle of the student car kings. In the end, the Beijing Institute of Technology team, relying on strong strength and consistent performance, beat all rivals and won the championship for two consecutive years, becoming the well-deserved student car king in China. As one of the strongest university racing teams in China, the Beijing Institute of Technology team began preparing for the new season's competition right after winning the title in 2010, and in designing and building its new car it achieved new improvements over the previous year in areas such as race car design and hardware application. In addition, the Beijing Institute of Technology team also took part in Formula Student Japan in 2011 and achieved first place in the acceleration event; the experience of competing in Japan also greatly enriched the team's racing experience and its ability to adapt on the spot. In the end, although the Munich team was superior in the dynamic events, an unexpected loss of points in the cost event meant that it narrowly missed the overall championship, while the Beijing Institute of Technology team, with consistent performance across all competition items, won the championship with an overall score of 790.34 points and was crowned student car king.
