From November 9 to 11, 2018, the first World Internal Combustion Engine Conference and Exhibition was grandly held at the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Centre. Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and President of the China Association for Science and Technology, delivered a video message of congratulation. With the theme "Green, Efficient, Innovative, Developing", the conference attracted more than 380 guests, including government and industry leaders, domestic and international experts and scholars and well-known entrepreneurs, among them 35 academicians from China and abroad. Jointly organised by the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines and the Wuxi Municipal People's Government, the conference covers the entire industrial chain of the ICE industry - production, learning, research, application, repair, management and trade - and is the highest-level and most comprehensive academic event in the international ICE field. As a strategic partner of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines and a main supporter of this conference, Kunlun Lubricant exhibited a number of its high-end lubricant products.

Responsibility first: Kunlun Lubricant helps reform the internal combustion engine industry
At the conference's "Fuels and Lubrication" sub-forum, Tang Zhongping, Director of the PetroChina Lanzhou Lubricant Research and Development Centre, gave a report entitled "Development of China's D1 independent diesel engine oil specification standard", introducing the technology behind the development of that standard. The specification was designed and developed overall by the "China Standard Development Innovation Alliance for Engine Lubricating Oils", initiated and established by the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines, to meet the technical requirements of diesel engine oils in the current Chinese market and reflect China's national conditions and characteristics; drawing on a deep foundation in bench development and testing, Kunlun Lubricant mainly undertook the technical development of the main benches.
