This product upgrade was carried out mainly in three aspects: “quality improvement,” “enriching low-viscosity products” and “service concept improvement.” Within KR9-T, two new low-viscosity products were added — 0W-20 C5 and 0W-20 SN PLUS/GF-5; within KR9, the 5W-20 SN PLUS/GF-5 product was added; the A3/B4 series products meet Europe’s latest ACEA technical standard requirements; the base oil quality of KR8 and KR7 was fully upgraded to synthetic base oil with quality grade SN; and the quality grades of KR6 and KR5 were raised to SL and SJ respectively. Besides the product line upgrade, Kunlun Tianrun also added functional labels to help consumers make the best choice!
KR9-T series
Quality at a new height
The quality of the KR9-T series products was fully upgraded, and a new 0W-20 low-viscosity product was added. It leads domestically in launching products meeting Europe’s latest energy-saving and environmental ACEA C5 standard requirements and products meeting the performance requirements of the API SN PLUS technical standard about to be issued, and is the preferred choice for owners of high-end cars out of warranty and for OEM factory-fill oil.
SN PLUS oil: advanced “TGDI protection technology,” designed specially for turbocharged direct-injection engines. It effectively reduces the occurrence of low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) and turbocharger failure in GDI and TGDI models; it improves friction performance, enhances engine power performance and extends engine life, making it the first choice for turbocharged direct-injection engines.
C5 oil: a fully synthetic lubricant product that Kunlun Lubricant leads in launching for Europe’s most advanced vehicles with exhaust aftertreatment systems. Its upgraded anti-wear and durability technology brings maximum fuel savings while comprehensively protecting the engine — saving money, saving time and being environmentally friendly; its low-ash, low-sulfur and low-phosphorus formulation technology fully addresses future China VI emission regulations and better protects aftertreatment devices.
KR9 series products
Quality upgraded across the line
The KR9 series products were fully upgraded, adding the 5W-20 low-viscosity oil. The 5W-30 and 5W-20 are products meeting the performance requirements of the API SN PLUS technical standard about to be issued, effectively reducing the occurrence of low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) and turbocharger failure in GDI and TGDI models, ensuring efficient operation of TGDI engines and effectively reducing engine friction resistance and extending engine life. Among the upgraded KR9 series products, 5W-40 suits all vehicle types, while 5W-30 and 5W-20 are the preferred oils for owners of new American and Japanese vehicles.
KR8 series
“Professional anti-wear, easy to drive”
This series adopts core-protecting start-stop molecule technology; its efficient cleaning technology and anti-wear technology can resist the formation of low-temperature sludge and wear at the moment of starting and during long periods of low-speed driving, bringing brand-new protection to the engine, easily handling the frequent start-stop conditions of city driving and long periods of low-speed engine operation, and enhancing engine power. It satisfies mid-size and compact passenger car (including SUV and MPV) owners’ demand for cost-effective engine oil.
KR7 series
