Southwest Sales Branch Visits Goupitan Hydropower Station

The surging Wujiang River holds inexhaustible energy. Since the start of reform and opening up, the Wujiang River basin in Guizhou has been one of the key basins for the state's early planning of new hydropower stations. From the 1970s to the present, nine hydropower stations have been built - Puding, Yinizidu, Hongjiadu, Dongfeng, Suofengying, Wujiangdu, Pengshui, Goupitan and Silin - with a total installed capacity of 9 million kW. These hydropower stations bear the important task of transmitting electricity from the west to the east. Among the completed stations in the Wujiang River basin, 6 million kW of installed capacity uses Kunlun lubricants, and the Goupitan Hydropower Station is one of them.
In late August, sales representatives of the Guizhou industrial oil area of PetroChina Lubricant Company's Southwest Lubricant Sales Branch made a technical follow-up visit to the Goupitan Hydropower Station to learn in detail about the use of Kunlun lubricants and technical service at the station. The head of the electromechanical materials department of the Goupitan Hydropower Station spoke highly of Kunlun lubricants, explaining that since the station began generating power, equipment has operated normally and all oil indicators have been very stable, ensuring normal power generation. In addition, in exchanges with other hydropower stations, the relevant person in charge at Goupitan shared the station's experience of using Kunlun lubricants with other stations.
