General Manager Liao Guoqin Attends the Central Enterprises-Suzhou Cooperation and Development Symposium

On February 23, 2010, Liao Guoqin, General Manager of PetroChina Lubricant Company, attended the Central Enterprises-Suzhou Cooperation and Development Symposium and Cooperation Project Signing Ceremony at the Great Hall of the People and signed the Framework Agreement on Investment Cooperation for the PetroChina East China Lubricant Production Base Project with the Taicang municipal government.
The PetroChina East China Lubricant Production Base is located in the chemical industry zone of the Taicang Port Development Zone, with planned investment of 1 billion yuan. It is planned to include a lubricant logistics center project, a lubricant additive project and a lubricant R&D center project, to be implemented in phases.
On the basis of completing the construction of the East China Lubricant Plant, the Lubricant Company will continue to invest in building the PetroChina East China Lubricant Production Base in Taicang. This fully conforms to the group company's overall development strategy and overall production plan and will help further optimize the production layout and product mix, improve the market competitiveness of lubricant products and achieve close integration of research, production and sales.
At the symposium, Jiang Hongkun, Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, said that central enterprises have always been an important force driving Suzhou's reform and development, injecting vitality, adding momentum, playing an important role and making important contributions to Suzhou's economic and social development. Suzhou Mayor Yan Li said that Suzhou will actively promote cooperation between the two sides to innovate in openness, achieve win-win results through innovation and realize scientific development through win-win outcomes.
