Kunlun Lubrication achieves breakthrough progress in the development of UAV oil products

On November 19, the 25th China Hi-Tech Fair came to a successful conclusion. At this Hi-Tech Fair, a domestic world-first tandem-wing vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing UAV met the public, and many central-level media focused on reporting it. At present, China's UAV industry has entered a fast lane of development, becoming a new engine for the development of the low-altitude economy, with technology in a leading position globally. As a member of the national team in China's lubrication field, Kunlun Lubrication actively promotes independent and controllable lubrication technology for UAV equipment, helping the UAV industry build momentum to soar high.
Recently, the FD two-stroke UAV engine oil developed by Kunlun Lubrication's Dalian R&D Center successfully completed trial operation tests on the two-stroke heavy-fuel aviation engine of Guangxi Yinyi Power Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangxi Yinyi), marking breakthrough progress in the development of Kunlun two-stroke UAV oil.
Guangxi Yinyi is an enterprise specializing in the R&D, production and sales of two-stroke heavy-fuel UAV engines, with technology in a leading position in China. Because of characteristics such as simple structure, light dead weight and a high thrust-to-weight ratio, two-stroke heavy-fuel aviation piston engines can meet the needs of short-endurance low-altitude UAVs, and therefore two-stroke heavy-fuel aviation engines occupy a dominant position in low-speed, small aircraft. During the operation of UAVs, conditions such as extremely high engine combustion chamber temperatures and reduced low-temperature pumpability make lubrication conditions more demanding, so high-quality lubricating oil is needed to meet the lubrication needs of UAVs.
Kunlun Lubrication's Dalian R&D Center has deeply cultivated two-stroke engine oil technology, persisting in scientific and technological innovation and independent research and development. To meet the oil requirements under the harsh working conditions of UAVs, the R&D team of the Dalian R&D Center developed UAV oil products through market research and repeated simulation experiments. In the end, Kunlun Lubrication's FD two-stroke engine oil successfully ran stably on Guangxi Yinyi's heavy-fuel two-stroke aviation engine.
As an emerging industry, UAVs have increasingly expanded their application fields as technology continues to upgrade. The successful completion of the application test of Kunlun Lubrication's UAV oil on a two-stroke heavy-fuel aviation engine has laid the foundation for the development of engine oil in the UAV field.
